The ITEM group is involved in several projects, with European, national, industry and university funding, on a range of topics. For these projects, we collaborate with researchers in The Netherlands but also internationally, and with industry like ASML, Philips, NXP or governmental organizations like STW and Syntens/KvK. The aim of our projects is to contribute scientifically, but also perform research that is relevant and useful for practice. More information on current and past projects can be found in the gallery. In general, we love research projects that grant a Ph.D. student, who can work fulltime on the project, under supervision of our ITEM staff.
Next to these formal projects, we also perform projects in our education, namely in master thesis projects and Bachelor final projects, and in many master courses, like the Technology Entrepreneurship course in which students develop a convincing business case for, for example, Philips Health Care, TU/e Innovation Lab, start-ups like Phonebloks, or the Design Course in which students solve business problems for (start-up) companies like CM or PhenomWorld. More information on individual projects can be obtained by contacting the project leader.
